I have WinXP sp2 installed. I need to add smtp to my machine. The problem
is it is asking for my WnXP SP2 disk. when I put it in says it can't copy
the file!!! My machine came wiht SP2 already installed. I have since
obtained the CD of SP2, still can't get it to work....

My guess is you are seeing some variation on this:
An incorrect version of the Smtpsvc.dll file is used when you include the SMTP Server component in a Windows XP Embedded Target

Looks like you need to extract it from some SP1 system. Look at this page for help. (search by file only, set top dropbox to 'file
only' and search for various platforms that include the version of Smtpsvc.dll you want)
