Well, I got the glasses today! I ordered 2 pair to try out, and they work
GREAT. They are much, much better than the Sega glasses. They let alot
more light through (estimated around 85% vs. the Sega glasses at 40%) and
they block much better as well (estimated 95% vs. 90%).
The glasses require no modifications, and they plug right in. I'll be
offering them for sale bundled with an adaptor soon. Probably in the next
2 weeks or so.
Since these block the light better, it was a bit easier on my eyes to get
the 3D effect without double images compared to the Sega glasses.
Other than that, they work the same, and they appear to have much more
durable hinges than the Sega glasses (My BRAND NEW Sega glasses got pulled
off the table after getting tangled in the vec power cord. The corner of
the hinge broke after dropping 1 foot and the arm fell off!)
