Hello,

When I come back from a standby, 2 of my 4 partitions on my one 80 gig
Maxtor hard drive iindicate they are not formatted (C:no issue, D:no issue
E:doesnt work, F:doesnt work).

Rebooting the computer corrects the problem.

CPU:AMD Athlon XP 2700+
MotherBoard:DFI Landparty ultra II B
Hard Drive: Maxtor 80 gig. 7200 rpm
Case/PSU: http://www.overclockercafe.com/Rev [...] uperAlien/

If you have any suggestion I would like to hear them, or if you have any
questions please ask.

Thank You

Seems like a hardware error. I would try a new drive cable, and check the onboard controller.
