Can 9500np soft hacked to 9700np

I am going to buy a 9500np with 256bit memory interface and would like to soft hacked to 9700np. What is the possibility of doing so? How about 9800SE being soft hacked to 9800?

They can ALWAYS be hacked, but at least 50% of the time the hack produces horrendous checkerboard artifacts.

You can always uninstall the hack however, so the card will still work if the hack does not.

The 9800 SE PRO (256 bit mem interface) can be hacked to the 9800, the 9800 SE non-pro (128 bit memory interface) can be hacked to something like the 9500 PRO.
