Hi guys,
I just became an owner of a vectrex. Unfortunately it is broken. I
think its repairable but the controller board must be broken or
something. When I turn a game on I have to put the controller in
player 2 and press all the buttons for it to begin on the one player
game. Then on most games the ship/player just flys up the screen
continously I got another controller of ebay to make sure it wasnt
that and its not. Has anyone come accross this fault before? Is it
repairable? Does anyone know of people in the UK who do repairs?

I have a second unit where the ship spins in circles until warmed up with
any controller plugged in. I will let you know what the problem is as soon
as I have time to get it on the bench.
PS the schematics are freely downloadable so don't pay for them.

Hi...
I too have a Vectrex (I've owned it since it was first introduced). Just
today, my ship started spinning on its own, as if I was holding the
joystick to the left. It is happening with MineSweep and RipOff, etc.
Any suggestions?
