Disabling TV-out on a GFMX440?

Hi - I'd like to play some DVD's on my PC using the copy of PowerDVD I got with the machine - (I originally had a R9000 in it, but I had to swop it with my friend, since the GFMX was terribly unstable in his machine - and I need his machine to run since I access the 'net through it using ICS!) - but I can't because it asks me to disable the TV-out of the card - but I don't know how - there doesen't seem to be any part of the control panel which allows me to do that - and disabling nview - (I'm sure I told it not to install it, but it seems to anyway) - dosen't help either...:-( So, at the minute, I am unable to watch Starwars EpII until either a) I find some way of disabling the TV-out - or B) I get another card - (at least another R9000).

Oh, and does anyone know of a way to change the gamma settings using the control panel? - My monitors pretty dark...

Thanks...:)

I'm half baked right now, and your post looks a little confusing. I think I understand the part where you have an MX card, and I think your trying to disable.....nevermind...I've just gone cross eyed...

First make sure the monitor is installed as a Plug & Play monitor for the gamma settings problem. And then change the refresh rate. That might help.

Why the DVD software asks you to disable TV out I don't know. Upgrade your display drivers as well. Then you can disable dual monitor support. One of my old cards saw the TV as another monitor, not a TV-out??? Also try other DVD software (or updated versions)
