I think it's pretty exciting to see a new card get such a great 3DMark score...

let's hope it actually perform the number it said it would :D

if that's true, nVidia is screwed, and if they come with alot of games ATi is screwed

From the link page

<i>"To finish off I wanted to mention an interesting comment from XGI about their dual GPU system. You may expect performance to be blisteringly fast but as XGI explained to us, it is cheaper to produce a dual GPU system since it becomes very expensive to produce such a complex GPU on the allocated die space which according to XGI will become common place among GPU makers soon as technologies continue to advance."</i>

That's an impressive score. Now what's the price and IQ of these cards?

who cares I WANT BLING BLING

oh Eden said i have to be more "mature"

I think i should see some IQ test and performance rating as well as it's performance in OPEN GL and the type of special rendering methods and it's floating bit precision it's using. ;)

At that high-end price, it had better have some pretty darn solid IQ to accompany good 3dMark scores. I hope it does well in real 3D games benchmarks. I hear that XGI is a merger between SIS and Trident. This is Trident and SIS that are advertising a "high-end" card?? Last time I checked, Trident only made chipsets for cards that sold under $30 *cough*! Oh well, its nice to see a new competitor on the block. I hope they can really hold up to their claims.

I had a Trident Blade 3d 8 MB that my dad bought. It ran Jedi Knight pretty well. That's about all I can say about it though.
