Hey everyone,
I'm was wondering if there was any way to upgrade my gaming laptop. Would it be worth it at this point? I've had it for several years and play WoW, Rift, Star Wars, Skyrim and would like to play Tera, but my system is showing its age.

My current set up:

Windows 7® Home Premium 64 bit with Service Pack 1
Intel core2 duo p8700 2.53 GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870 X2 video cards, Crossfire
4 gig ram
320GB 7,200 RPM SATA Drive

Should I cut my losses and move on or is there a simple upgrade that would get me a little more out of this machine?
Thanks!

some folks are installing new mobos, cpus, and such, i say time to go shopping for a new one. better gpus, cpu with more cores, ddr3, better networking, ssd or hybrid drives, so much more, and you could just that sell your old one

The biggest issue with laptops is they cannot be upgraded outside of RAM and the hard drive. I would highly suggest saving up for a new one.

ebay is saturated with mobos and cpus for laptops, more and more people doing it everyday. many vids on youtube with instructions. however, i still agree with runswindows95, after all time and parts, imo, its not worth it. go shopping !!!
