Just bought myself an A7N8X, had some god knows what pcchips board that ran like a dead moose previously. I was wondering if i could possibly overclock the 9700pro a bit more since i can now alter such things as AGP voltage and frequency. Tips, suggestions and witty flames appreciated.

have it Overclocked at 350 core 325 mem atm.

AGP voltage doesn't do a thing for overclocking. Voltage regulation is done on the card itslelf, thats why a lot of people do "voltage mods". If you can't go higher than 350/325 with current cooling, then get better cooling.

Anything upto 400mhz is achievable on air cooling and 430mhz with water on a good 9700pro board. My 9700pro does 382/351 with no artifacts with a stock 1700 cooler epoxied to the shim. What games do you use to test for artifacts? 3dmark 03 is a good way to test. Have it run for an hour or 2 and then on the last run, check game test 2 and 3 for white/black or grey speckles or even tearing of the image.
