Hi

I play with a lot of software and I have installed so many applications
now that when I open the "All Programs" window under START the ALL
PROGRAMS window is to big to show all the programs and goes off the
screen on the right side.

I have been unable to figure out a way of viewing the whole window or
scrolling the screen to the right. Anyone have any ideas on how I can
view all my programs?

I am using XP Home SP2.

thanks for any help

dan

Try this view, right click on the START Button and select Properties.

If using "Start Menu" then click "Customize">Advance>in the "Start Menu
items:" Box, select "Scroll Programs".

If using "Classic Start Menu" then click "Customize">in the "Advanced Start
Menu options:" Box, select "Scroll Programs".

You should consider making new start menu folders to group similar
applications together under one heading. Using Windows Explorer navigate
to 'Documents and settings' and under the folder with *your* user name
navigate to the 'Start Menu' folder. There create new folders (file
tab/new/folder) with names like 'Word Processors', Tools', 'Games', etc.
and then drag the appropriate existing start menu entries into the new
folders. You may need to copy some entries from 'all users' or 'default
users' to round out your new organized start menu.
