I've read the first couple of posts. I'll have to finish up tommorow its getting late & I still have homework I need to do. But I WILL comment on this tommorrow after I have finished reading everything.

Do I like, have to read the WHOLE thing? It's, like, real long man!
There's not gonna be a Quiz is there?
Freakin' Reading! Read all day at work, read in class, read this, now read That? Aww man.
I'm gonna sleep first, then I promise to read it tomorrow, if I can't find the Cliff Notes first!

Dang GW and his literacy programs!

Nice thread, except that stubborn troll keep pop up.
Hi Anthony,

Well, you could run hardware vendor funded benchmarks and interview people like Gabe and I whose companies have signed big marketing deals with hardware companies. Or you could just write some DirectX9 shader code and draw your own independent conclusions. How's your C++ skills?

-Tim
He keep insisting on the abovement, attempt to brainwash people to believe that those developers had deal with IHV therefore their benchmarks are not be trusted.(hint: HL2)

Good thread. A healthy mix of edjucated opinion, heated debate, and blatant fanboism (although only enouh to make it spicy).

Sort of a gathering of info from around the .net

I'm a little disappointed ith the 'Guests' as they obviously don't have the support of their own argument to register a name. I think WaltC (2nd to last post I read) had a valid opinion, to which the 'guest' simply replies, why isn't the DX9 path called the R3XX path. Well DUH, cause the DX9 path likely runs on other DX9 just like it runs on the Radeons (within reason).

Took a long time to read at work though, but definitely worth it.

I think along similar lines you may get something out of nV 'scientist' (catch all term) David Kirk's comments from this thread.

Well done GW, Thanks!
