I was looking at Tomshardwares's benchmarks and noticed that each time they do a new one, the cards get worse... on the same benchmark tests too.

theres the old ones. the cards seem really kick ass, running ut2003 flybly around 170 fps...

The newer one, running the inferno deme... and decreased over 60 fps. Now, to me thats never happened. Playing a game and all of a sudden losing over 60 fps for a map and some bots. Now Im hoping Im wrong in this and Id like someone to correct my mistake, cause to me these cards used to be great, now they are just like my old GF2 running ut2003...

Usually newer drivers change performance. And people are more often interested in superior stability and image quality than just raw FPS.

But like CoolS said, it's more about the baseline for both cards than comparing to previous setups.

That's a good question. There are currently none (If you don't count the supposed posted 3Dmark results). All these adds have sparked everyone's curiosity. Many of us are rooting for the Volari deep down iniside to make a good showing to make the Graphics card market more competitive this year.

My OS features preemptive multitasking, a fully interactive command line, & support for 640K of RAM!
