Well, I just put the finishing touches on my game room, which now
includes TONS of systems & games, 10 television sets, 2 vectrex
systems, and much, much more, check out these pics and let me know what

Yo Schmitty, where's the rubber doll and medicine chest? Also the weight bench
looks a tad dusty... Nice carpet though, tiles?

The carpet is "casino carpet" which generates SOOO much static
electricity that I can't even wear shoes down there (it can damage the
equipment). The weight bench is used to sit and play at the Vectrex
table, since it is just the right size.

Thanks Aaron,
Well, three of the TV's I bought at Wal Mart because I needed A/V
in's to handle the newer systems. The rest are older sets that I
purchased at various thrift stores, HOWEVER, I limit myself to a
specific brand (the Zenith "SPACE COMMAND" model (long story, don't
ask) - I have four of these Space Command sets). I also found a later
model Zeneth a few days ago that had the A/V in's for $25.

That's cool. When making a game room, you always have to make a few
stylistic choices in order to make the setup unique to you. Now,
for me, I've made some decisions: one, with only a few exceptions, all
components are to be OEM. No third party stuff, which has caused me
nothing but grief. Second, I'm trying to eliminate any RF connections.
Third, in direct contrast to your setup, I'm thinking everything should
be tied to *ONE* set. I haven't picked one out yet, but it'd be some
sort of HDTV set.
Pics will be posted, when the setup does get made. Right now, it's all
on the digital drawing board.

Nice setup. We only have an old sega gensis system and a gamecube. I mainly
play games on my computer.

Oh HELL YEAH! She has her own "office" where she can use her computer,
etc. I also built her a real nice stereo in there, too so she can
listen to music, etc.
One of the rooms I made into a music room. It has all these shelves
built into the wall that was perfect for holding almost my entire CD
collection, and more shelves that are perfect for displaying my massive
tape collection. I also have a nice stereo system in there, a lounge
chair, my two basses, my electric guitar, and recording equipment. It's
a little cramped in there, but it's nice to have it all there in one
shot.

Great game rooms, guys! I too have pics of my gaming basement from a
party last year at my new website www.trickmantimes.com.
Here is a direct link to the pictures. BTW, since they're from last
year...a little has changed (like the addition of a pinball machine),
but it's mostly the same:

I'm thinking of adding a "game room" page on my site. I'd love to have
one pic of your game room from anyone who wants to submit it for
posting it on a page. Name/credit would be underneath of course. Anyone
who wants to do this can e-mail me from the main site page. Thanks
everyone (and yes, my wife has her own craft room!).

Very nice, I enjoyed looking at pictures of your "basement bash". By
the looks of things, though, it looks like those in attendance were
freejacked from a "dungeons and dragons" convention

Actually, most of them were ex-Ziff-Davis guys (EGM, Expert Gamer,
GameNow, etc.)
