Hi everyone!
First of all, excuse me for my poor English.I'll try to do my best to
explain my problem.
I recently bought an used Dell Cpi D266XT and upgraded CPU and RAM to
400Mhz/128Mb(The BIOS was upgraded to A11 ver. by the previous
owner).Because of some sort of strange hardware CD/R configuration ,I'm
not able to install my Debian Gnu/Linux on it(actually I work with a
Slackware 10.0),so I bought an internal removable Zip unit in order to
use it as a floppy drive, booting from it and then proceeding with
installation from network. Now the question is: is it possible to boot
from Zip or I've spent my money buying something useless?
I mean, really the Zip can be useful to me,but if it doesn't boot then my
problem is not solved.
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks in advance
