Well its not that big of a accomplishment because my 9800NP would clock at Pro speeds anyway out of the box anyway, but it feels pretty good to have windows recognize my card as a Pro.

Ah the beauty of being a nerd.

mine was a non pro . And i clocked it to a pro pretty easy
and out of the box it stated mine was a pro . But i got 2.8n samsung ram so over clocking it was not a prob but if you have infineon i would not risk it

Yes I have infineon. I could hit stock pro speeds and then some so I figured it was safe. As far as I know I am the only infineon user that has hit these speeds yet.
Mine out of the box was not recognized as a Pro by windows. I think some of the lucky ones got cards that were.

It made no difference than before because I had it o/c'd to Pro speeds anyway. I just did it for the satisfaction of seeing 9800pro on my system and then I wouldnt need to use any o/c utils.
It did take me a while to find a bios that would work properly. Some Pro bios wouldnt even let me clock as far as my NP bios!
