Well there you go. Looks like not only we have worries over HL2, but the cards that will play it like lightning will come out next year. This should boost DOOM III's appeal anyways.

BTW I'd like to voice that it's not just HL2 that deserves anticipation here, but (for Flamey) Deus Ex 2 is going to be a truly amazing game. Anyone who hasn't given Deus Ex a chance, is missing out on some real innovative gaming. I recommend to all to try it. Deus Ex 2 will likely have even more interaction than HL2, as it is based on that mainly, and it involves a game that branches significantly, where your alliance in counter-terrorism truly changes everything.

If HL2 is delayed until next year, DX 2 is going to take the sales, unless FPS (or even RPG to an extent) gamers have no minds and don't care to try what could be a truly innovative game. Just my opinion of course, but I think yall should give DX 2 some credit as well, as it's not just HL2 nor D3 that's the only big deal here.

Deus Ex was an underrated game by many, i played countless times to see different endings+different way to pass missions. HL wasnt anywhere near it. :tongue:

Since Deus Ex 2 isnt hype so much like the original, i got a feeling it will a smash hit like last one(to me anyway).

Definitely underrated, and I feel the next one will be. Good thing though, keeps the hype low.

I loved the first one's atmosphere. I think I outta give it another go, as I only played through it once.

December 3rd is the date. Hope it ain't delayed as well. I should have a great 1 month holiday this year.

Man, Deus Ex was insane. No one had heard of it so I thought pssht, another lame game and then I tried it. HOLY SH!T it was awesome. I'm honestly sad I beat it cause I wanted it never to end (and I played all 3 endings). Someing about the environments just got to me, they really seemed real. I spent hours upon hours just exploring and messing around, trying different ways to accomplish things. Lol, I remember 1 summer playing all day and when I got off, I literally thought I had to move the mouse to make myself turn when I walked (only to realize I had no mouse in my hand heheheh). What are your favorite weapons? That blue saber (forget the exact name) was really freaky...I became a stealthy assasin mwahaha. It'll be a kickass game, but sadly I prolly won't be able to run Deus Ex 2 cause of me current old system.
You know what'd be funny? If the Volari card was seriously kickass so NV and Ati decided to hold off a bit and better their cores until they crushed Volari hehe.

Btw, I can understand the 423 thing...today my brain decided to shut off. After 3rd period I just felt dead. By 6th period physics I literally was having what I call and ADD day...I kept writing the wrong stuff and was practically dislexic w/ 2 digit numbers. Finally fell asleep 8th period english

Favorite weapon?

Hmm, well I fancied the launcher for the bot killing, and made sure I have high levels of heavy weapon experience.
I think the saber was used frequently. But I forget man, it's been like over a year and a half. I also made sure the sniper was mastered, definitely important weapon when using silenced shots. Oddly enough the head shots didn't always do an OSK.

Totally agree though, game environments were a true blessing. I am not a fan of dark environments all the time and fancy bright colors like in Mario Sunshine, but this game was a big exception, as the feel was there. Great music as well. Wish I could find online the return to Hell's Kitchen song as well as Hong Kong's.
