Not that bandwidth will do anything for shader performance...but it sure is a nice paper fact i guess. :/ *shrug*

32 GB/s is really impressive. Unfortunately, the 27 GB/s on the GeForce FX 5900 Ultra didn't do a whole lot for it these days

My OS features preemptive multitasking, a fully interactive command line, & support for 640K of RAM!

I still say it's because it's shared. Likely a 16GB/sec for each, like the render pipe amount. No way they could produce a core fit enough for 16 pipes and implement so much and then put 2 in one board.
