Would this be a good value for US$100. I've read a few reviews and most of them said that the price-to-performance ratio for the 5200 FX series wasn't too great. Recently at a major retail outlet they mislabeled about half of the Ultra boxes with the price of the regular 5200, so I picked one up. These are new and in the retail package. It looks like a clerk was just puting the prices on and didnt pay attention.

Not too bad for that price, but I'm still inclined to think that a Ti4200 for $80 to $90 is a better performer.

But for $100, whatever. I don't think it's a horrible buy, unless you plan to play Half Life 2 and nothing else...

That card is complete crap. It's supposedly a dx9 card but it can't play dx9 games with any reasonable fps. It's a waste of your $100.

Sell the card on e-bay, return it, or run it over with your car like someone else did.

The card handles AA & AF pretty good....thats one thing that Ti4200's dont do, still though, with cards at this performance level, AA & AF wont get used often. A hundred bucks aint bad for an Ultra. The guy who bought this card needs to play with it, and decide for himself if his money was well spent.

Please excuse our friend Dhlucke, he is a bit of a DirectX 9 purist.

Actually, your best bet is to pull the price sticker off, return it without your bill (say you lost it) for the full price of a 5200 ULTRA, and buy a 9600 PRO with the cash...

Actually that sounds good to me :) I'm going to call them and see what there return policy is. So far I've been pleased with it. This is holding me over until the new year until I can buy a good card. I was using a GeForce 2MX 400, prior to this. Thanks everyone for your responses.
