It doesn't seem to have a high customer feedback (2/5 stars). But then again, that's only from a total of 3 votes which is by far not nearly enough for a meaning sample size of the population for statistical data.

EDIT: I also wanted to add that I haven't heard bad about Abit. However, if you go for a Ti4200, go for a 64MB because it has faster memory & the Ti4200 chip doens't have enough raw poer to take advantage of 128MB of Texture memory anyway.

I dont know who told you that, but it simply isnt true.....well.....the early Ti4200 128mb cards used slower memory(comparing to the 64mb models) but that didnt happen for very long. If someone was to buy a 128mb Ti4200 today, I'm 99.9% sure that it would be clocked at 250/250, which is the same as the 64mb models. As far as the Ti4200 being too weak to utilize 128mb of memory....I'd like to find out who told you that so I could sit on them and fart.

I went ahead and snagged it, 69.00 for that card was a steal.

I don't mind buying refurbished, as long as it's from a quality site like new egg, and I know I'm not screwed if it's DOA, haha.

I don't mind the lack of cables, and discs either, I just need a fairly speed card for a good price.

Thanks for the advice though, guys.

In the benchmarks that others here pointed me to a few months back, revealed to me that the 64MB card performed very similary to the 128MB card. There wasn't even a greater than 2% gain from what I remember. Oh, I think it was one of these 5: Spitfire, Cleeve, TKS, or Phial, or TheGreatGrapeApe. Now to determine which one your going to sit down and fart on, I'll leave up to you for interegation. But if, this card DOES have 250MHz (effectively 500) Memory, than snagging this one wasn't a bad choice at all. The last time I checked the official specs for the Ti4200 128MB, was at Tom's Hardware & the official clock frequency for the 128 MB of memory was 444MHz. I feel pretty sure about this, but I could be wrong.

Could be wrong, but I think the revisioned cards are the 8x ones.

Either way, for 69 bucks, and from New Egg, used or not, I'm happy.

It's a fine card either way. Sometimes we like to look at things to technically. For your sake, there is not much difference between the models that GW & I were arguing about, but there IS a difference.
