Is there anyway to get the wireless connections from not disconnecting? there are 2 pcs with wireless nicks in them and they keep loosing connectivity to the internet ( i have that linksys router/wirless combo) any tips or tricks?
I set up a wireless LAN for my folks - I've learned that wireless is pretty susceptible to interference. Metal, CD's, AM radios...
I've found that wireless USB adapters are the way to go - buy a 10' extension for it and you'll be able to find the sweet spot... Or you could try boosting your signal via a WAP.
Make sure that you don't have any radio, electronics gadgets around your wireless like CStew77 mention. It is suspectable to EMI. Also, make sure that your NICs are seated properly and securely.
