I was planning to buy a graphic card for my new PC.
I was thinking of buying FX5600 model.
I looked at albatron cards and there were a few of them but I did not find any information about the memory speeds of them
Can anyone tell me the memory speeds for the FX5600 CP and FX5600 P cards.

Thanks
Navneet

*cough cough 9600Pro cough cough*

Not too be a fan boy here, but have you looked at the benchmarks between 9600Pro and 5600 Ultra? In dx 8 they are pretty equal, but bring dx9 into the equation, and teh 9600 Pro will wipe the floor with it. That and it's cheaper, runs cooler, doesn't need extra power and has a massive overclock potential. That, and when playing ANY game, you don't need to worry about Image Quality loss, something Nvidia has been doing alot, not only in dx 9 titles but dx8 as well *cough ut2k3 cough*.

However, if you insist on getting a 5600 (why, I don't know), then make sure you get the rev.2, as the rev.1 kinda sucked.

Is there anything really more to say?

I'm the owner of Nvidia cards all these while (TNT2, GF2 GTS, GF4 Ti) but I still think that for current cards, get the ATI... The FX seems to be disappointing...

As for memory speeds, did you ever try looking at review sites?

i think you left out the part about answering his question.....

I could only find the memory speeds of the 5600p which is 550, and i could only find the speeds of the CP extra which is 500.
hope this helps :D
BTW i agree with sargeduck though, getting a r9600pro would be a better choice

LOL, should have waited another minute. We both posted our responses at the same time. (Hey, it took a while to find those  )
