No, there aren't any signal boosters or external antenna which you can use.
The base station has two antenna - external and internal - for signal
balance. Try changing the channel broadcast from the default 6 to 11 or 1
and see if that helps. You might also make sure the base station is not
near other electrical devices, away from walls and either higher or lower
than the current position. Remember, too, the home environment including
wall construction and placement of appliances such as refrigerators,
microwaves and washer/dryer machines can make a difference.
