Dear friends,

I bought a VAIO SZ483 few years back with vista ultimate as OS. Now I would like to use it for connecting a infrared camera whose driver needs Windows 95 as the OS. I can forget about the wifi and finger print reader and few things like that. I need to have my PCMCIA card reader and other ports working after installation of the Win95 OS. Can anybody suggest how to load (I have an original win 95 os) OS. I have alrdy backed up the entire computer.

You could try running a virtual machine and see if you can get that to work for you.

Ya, I did try that before writing to the forum. Th issue is the virtual machine does not recognize my PCMCIA interface card for the IR camera.

Thanks for the reply.

Have you gone at it from the other side and tried to find WinXP drivers for the infrared camera?
