Upgrade Ti4600

Specs: PIV 2.4, 512Mb, PE667, Ti4600 128Mb lots of fast disk

Question is: Halo crawls with eye-candy on (my excuse for being such a poor shot) - would I notice a significant difference going to a more modern mid range card. The 4600 was top dog when I bought it last year and is fine in everything else.

Halo has problems. Dont ditch your card because of a poor XBox to pc port.(unless you ditching it my way

New NVidia drivers have made a huge difference for some reason; no slowdown now on my PC even when it gets busy.

Halo will slow down quite a bit, but the patch fixed it for me. I get smooth framerates all the time now. Try that before an upgrade. Also turn sound quality/variety to medium, that may help.
