Alright, I'm upgrading from a GeForce2 GTS to an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro...

I need to know what steps I need to take to completly remove nvidia from my system (I dont want to do a format, I just formatted like 2 weeks ago)...

and what steps I should take before installing my new card (if any besides removing any traces of nvidia)

Just make sure all traces of the detonators are removed.

Use a program called Detonator Destroyer. You can download it at 3dchipset.com I think.

------------------
Radeon 9500 (hardmodded to PRO, o/c to 322/322)
AMD AthlonXP 2400+ (o/c to 2600+ with 143 fsb)
3dMark03: 4055

Just for reference sake

I have the current 52.16 "forceware" driver set by the way

Will that work with these?

Detonator Destroyer doesnt work with WinXP, you have to use Detonator RIP http://download.guru3d.com/detonator/
And yes, it will remove the 52.16 driver.
