My D drive will not read any CD I put in it. I've opened Win Media, tried to
play them from My Computer, nothing. Help!

Does it show up in Device Manager? In the BIOS?

Have you tried a simple CD cleaning kit?

If all else fails, it might be that the drive has just died and needs to be
replaced.

If after a cleaning CD has gone through it, all cables are plugged in
and still nothing, it might be time for a new drive.
