Free PCI slot?

i have an MSI gf4 ti 4800 SE with that TOP Tech cooler thing. i just read in someones post that it is good to have the PCI slot closest to the AGP slot free for ventilation. i have my sound card in the PCI slot next to the AGP, and it is really close to touching the cooler, in fact, the wires that go from the fan of the video card to the PCB touch the bottom of the sound card. is this is a bad thing? should i move the sound card? thanks

Eventually your graphics chip will melt down. I wouldn't be surprised if you come back in here asking about graphics anamolies in a few months.

ok, so if i do move the sound card to another slot, i wont have to reinstall drivers and stuff, right?
