Well if you are having issues with the latest drivers (catylist 3.8's), go back one step to the 3.7's.
(which are possible slightly more stable)

Did you have an Nvidia card previously installed?

If so, it's old drivers could jack up your performance, even if you think they're removed....and also DX9's performance as well. I had to reinstall DX9 after switching from Nvidia to ATI because Nvidia actually altered some DX9 stuffs. After that, my 9500 Pro worked good.

But i THINK i desinstall all drives...
How am i sure i have desinstalled all drives from Nvidia??
And how i can desinstall directX??
I never desinstall the directX, but this is can help me in my problem.
Do you know a program who can desinstall ALL Nvidia drives and Directx??

Captain Obvious says that uninstalling DX is hard, usually you have to restore an image file or reinstall windows!

Some programs do exist, but they are less than 100% reliable!

The Captain recommends you go visit <A HREF="http://www.guru3d.com" target="_new">http://www.guru3d.com</A>.

Go <A HREF="http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/" target="_new">here</A> and use Drivercleaner. Do things exactly as they tell you on the page. Download the latest ATI drivers from <A HREF="http://www.ati.com" target="_new">http://www.ati.com</A>. If you don't like those drivers, try the <A HREF="http://www.omegacorner.com/" target="_new">OmegaDrivers</A> (I like these better). If you get the Omega's don't get the 2.4.96b's....get the previous version because there is some instability in the 2.4.96b's. I had to redownload and reinstall DX9 after my Nvidia removal...get DX9 <A HREF="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=141D5F9E-07C1-462A-BAEF-5EAB5C851CF5&displaylang=en" target="_new">here</A>. Hope this helps.

By previous version make sure he understands you mean the CAT 3.8 or 3.7 version (i.e. 2.4.87 or 2.4.78a) not the 2.4.96a or 2.4.96 whihc were based on the leaked CAT '3.8.5'.

Just a reminder. Go straight to DriverHeaven if you wanna miss Omega's annoying pop-ups (hate them here at work!).
