Hi ,Iam new to this board, but I read it often lately since Iam buying a new computer. First of all I am canadian so all the price I will tell will be in canadian money, and secondly I buy the products from a store, not from website etc...

ok well I have to choose my vid card before thursday, Iam going for a Radeon 9800 pro 128

I went to compare prices and all.

I was wondering if there was a difference in the building or in the card quality depending if it was a original ATI or a ATI/Saphire.

secondly is it worth paying 15$cnd more( compare to a ATI/saphire 9800 pro 128) for a original ATI 9800 pro 128 or there isnt any differences ??

right now the prices I get for a REAL ati 9800 pro 128 is : 530$cnd (400$US)

and for a ATI/Saphire is : 518$cnd (395$US)

so thx in advance for the answers.

get sapphire... the quailty is generally better and support is much better if somehting goes wrong. i got sapphire and its doing well, especially after i overlclocked it.

im not sure about the 9800pro but the sapphires 9600pro is faster than the ATI reference card.

hope that helps
