Desktop Display problems

whenever I try to run a program or application or just open a file,
everything appears to the left of my screen. I then have to right click on
the taskbar and "move" it over to where I can see it. This normally wouldn't
be a problem but I'm trying to install some new programs and the installation
wizard opens up off to the left of the screen and I can't see or move it.
I've tried adjusting my resolution, and tried switching monitors and nothing
has helped. I've done a system restore as well. I'm at a loss, any help would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Try the 'Cascade" feature, (or 'tile') Rightclick the taskbar.
