Messing with the Asians and your Engrish, Huh!
Evil Ba$tard, you had confuser more better than was wanted intentions good!
Anywhoo, yeah it was proposed before in an xBit article, but the mainstream N.Am/Euro lines didn't follow through. It seems like these guys have decided to go their own way with DDRII, just the same way that PowerColor is deciding to crank up their memory on the Bravo edition.
Xbit didn't say whether the 760 ram on the Bravo version was DDR-II, but wouldn't that be about the same speed as the R9800Pro-256 which runs on 256mb of DDRII?
Just a thought.
But yes 900mhz would be a pretty large boost, and definitely compete against (pummel) the FX5700 at extremely high res. which is the only area it loses out in consistently.
And considering that their source is DarkCrow, it's got alot of credibility to me. DarkCrow usually gets the nV DET drviers long before most (and I posted a few here), and they do good Catalyst comparisons (also posted those here). They also had the largest collection of FX5700/5950 reviews I had seen on day 1. They aren't some fly by night guys.
I woudl say this is a boutique action and not to expect it on BBA cards, but heck it's AWESOME to see the 3rd party guys picking up some slack, especially since this may be the LAST or second to last BBA line (moving towards nV style of design only).
Thanks for the tip GW.
