I want to install SuSE 8.2. They do not offer downloadable ISO images, just an FTP site where you can install from.

My problem is that my only NIC I have is the integrated Nforce2, the one included in the MCP south Bridge. It is not supported. Is there a way I can get around that? Is there a place where I can download the module that supports it? I haven't been able to find anything.

My computer is the leading cause of global warming.

It's possible to compile the drivers from source, so if you ask nicely at the Nvidia Forum, someone with SuSE 8.2 might be able to compile the network driver for you to put on a floppy and load at boot time. (I'm still running 8.0 with an older compiler, so it prolly won't work if I do it for you)

Plan B is go and buy a cheap-as generic NIC for the install.
