9600xt seems to be the current best, then probably 9500pro, 9600pro, and the rest are pretty much [-peep-]. Anything with an se at the end of its name is something you should stay away from.

The 9800xt is currently the fastest video card out on the market.
The 9600Pro is clocked higher than the 9500Pro, but due it not having as many pipelines, it often loses to the 9500. The two cards are pretty close in benchmarks though.

Nah that looks about right.
Allways have arguments with some of the borderline cards as to which is betta.

And in any particular series, in order of best to worse we geerally have;
XT > Pro > non Pro > SE.

SE is bad. "Special Edition" - It's special as in--

Guy1: "You know, these cards failed the xt, pro, standard edition quality test, but if we cut this this this and this hardware item out they still work!"

Guy2: "Kick ass dude! We'll market them as a 'Special Edition'"

Sounds about right. With special edition sounds like you get a better card. But!!!! you don't.
November 5, 2003 10:35:36 PM

thats why when you say "special edition" you use a retarded tone of voice.
