Hehe. I'm sticking with my 3.7 omegas until I "need" something different. Let us know how you get on with these new drivers.

Well they are installed, and for the first time ever I didn't uninstall the previous drivers, just installed over top of them. NO PROBLEMO!

There are no new D3D effects and not all the Omega 'leaked' OGL effects are there, but not a biggie.

Nothing strickingly different, but I'm gonna go play a few minutes of HALO as a test (yeah that's it I'm playing it for the forum, I'm not wasting my day-off! )

I am off to see the Matrix shortly though, so I can't spend too much time today looking/testing.

I just noticed, Serious Sam with TruForm? I'd like to see a review of that!

Anywhoo, of to Halo myself a new A-hol!

Don't expect much from the new matrix film. Big disapointment..... Why oh why did they have to rush the 2nd and 3rd ones.

I'm not expecting much, but it does bring closure, and it will be better than finding Neo.. err Nemo. And I don't expect too much, that's why I'm going for a Matinee ($4! CDN)

Ok just finished 3 rounds of Halo DEMO Multiplayer @ 456/318 with 2 finishes at the top (2 flags 20+ kils) and the one where I snipped and grenaded the whole round (in support of people moving on ground) I had the second most kills (can' compete with the Banshees for that [but shot down 2 Banshees])

Now I'm not just trying to brag, just saying, in all that play no noticeable issues.

I'll run more extensive tests later.

Gotta run!

I hope they aren't horrible like Cat3.8 (not talking about monitor frying BS)

getting similar performance with 3.9 compared to 3.8 on 9800xt, no big surprises, everything seems to work so far.

still same story with OVERDRIVE(tm) panel though. One option. "Enable OVERDRIVE(tm)". No temps, no sliders.
