Hi everyone, the hard drive icon for my system drive shows up only as plain
desktop icon and when I click on it I get the following message. "please go
to the control panel to install and configure system components." I go to
the control panel but that point I don't know where else to go or what to do.
To access my files from that drive I have to click on open or explore. If I
click on configure or install I get the same message as above. Is there
something I can do? Thanks. Craig

Craig,

Delete the file autorun.inf from the hard drive root.
