when mp3 is connected to pc no new hardware found window appears, when you
click on add new hardware in control panel, the add hardware wizard window
appears and asks if hardware is already connected, i clicked on yes but mp3
player is not presented in the list. could you help.

You may have to install software for your particular MP3 player. If you
mentioned what brand/model it is, someone with the same unit may be able to
assist you.
