Outlook Express 6 - sending multiple copies

After downloading Norton Antivirus I encountered a few
problems. All but one has been fixed.
When sending an attachment (i.e., picture) by Outlook
Express it sends multiple copies of the same thiing to
the same address. Sometimes it sends 19 copies, sometimes
11.
It does not send more than one copy of regular email.
I am running Win XP Pro.
Help?
