I just upgraded my system from a Geforce 5600FX (256mb) to a Radeon 9800pro (128mb). I do notice that I can now run HALO without any problems, however, I am having issues with GTA3 that i can't find any remedy on the 'net. The game starts off OK (and looks great), however after driving around awhile(within the first 5 minutes), i get graphical corruptions (like the buildings being drawn wierd, Clipping anomolies, texture corruption similar to (if anyone ever experienced it) Vice city before the first patch. I try the game with and without frame limiters, trails, and sync with the same problem. I've tried different settings in video properties including moving the troubleshooting slider 2 notches before "no accelaration" (where the game won't run because it shuts off video memory) and still no desired result. My system is as follows:

My System:

ASUS MB P4S800
Intel P4 3.02
512MB RAM
Plextor 708A & Premium
Sony DVD
Antec Power Supply 430W Truepower
WD 120 GB HD
Powercolor Radeon 9800pro, 128 mb

Help! I'm getting extremely frustrated and I have not heard from technical support yet. thanks for reading

its the game, not your card. if it is your card though reinstall the drivers. GTA3 does have alot of problems with the ATI pixel shaders.
