i have been looking around to get a new vid card and i had my mind fixed on getting a BBA 9600 pro 128mb for 149,- euro's. this morning tho i found a club-3d 9700 for 199,- euro's. Right now i have a geforce 2 mx400 64 mb......ur reaction: WAHAHAHAHAHA.....
what i would like to know is the club-3d a good card? and is it worth the extra 50 euro's? Right now i'm still able to play games fairly well (medal of honor).
further more i'm a student so i dont want to upgrade after this for a long...LONG... time.
they only have 3 left so i need to make up my mind quick and that is where u guys come in!!! further more i'm goin to a big hardware exchange or whatever u call it next weekend hoping to find a bargain (PC-DISCOUNT). should i wait???

i was thinking the same thing.. but is Club3D a reliable brand? i can hardly find anything on it. do you know if its a good overclocker? (i might give it a shot when its older)
The Ram does suck (Spec. 300mhz) compared to others, but it is a non-pro, and will likely still outperform any R9600XT (let alone R9600Pro) even if you put 2.86ns memory on the XT (which the reference board comes with the 3.3ns memory too). Rememebr that the non pro memory is supposed to be clocked @ 270mhz, and the PRO is 310mhz, so you should easily get a few mhz out of the memory (the same type runs @300mhz on the R9600XT. And remember that is all on 256bit memory not 128 like the R9600Pro.
Club3D is ok, but think of it basically as Generic, just better than a white-box OEM.
