I am looking for a AIW card for a freind... but he has only a small budget, so the 9700AIW and 9800AIW is out of the out of the Question...

what AIW's are there? price/performance?

that sorta thing...

he is looking to do some video editing... not professional.. just for home and freinds that sorta thing.

Sorry, the Radeon 8500DV would be cheaper, but with much less performance.

You can get the 9600 AIW for $310 cdn, or the 9000 AIW for $230 cdn. The 9600 is worth the extra money though.

Some day I'll be rich and famous for inventing a device that allows you to stab people in the face over the internet.

The asus 9600XT with vivo might be a good alternative. It's still about $280.Can.
