just like the title said. Inno3d GF-FX5600 is now under 100 bones. Is it a good buy or a p.o.s.?

In DX8 games, the 4200 is better, but my concern is that without support for dx9, the 4200 will be a dinosaur soon. The 5600 kills the 4200 in DX9 Benchmarks, especially with the FSAA enabled. Although the 5600 is not the ideal solution, it seems like the best choice to fill a gap for a year or three until I have more $ to dispose of. Let me know if I'm wrong. And no, I can't afford a 9600 Pro, even though that would be a sweet budget card. $100 is my wife's limit.

Get a Ti4200

FSAA may be faster on FX5600, but the fps you get isn't playable.

GeForce4 Ti4200 is faster than FX5600 Ultra in Half Life2, let alone FX5600. GeForce4 MX440 is faster and better for DX8 games than Radeon 9200SE, though R9200SE has DX8.1 support and GF4 MX440 supports only DX7

stop dissing something u dont have and just look at benchmarks cause they MEAN NOTHING! NOTHING!
