What do you want us to reply to?
I have a 9600Pro with 128Mb of DDR ram. can someone give me 3dmark 2001/2003 scores?

You seem to be missing a few key features, like the rest of your setup. I know TheGreatGrapeApe has a 9600Pro, but if we benchmarked our two systems, I know he would own me hardcore. Why? Cause I'm only running a celeron 1.1 oc'd to 1.4. He's running something an Athlon 2ghz or something a whole lot better. Benchmarks use your whole system, so if a very small amount of ram, it will affect your score drastically. Give us something to work with, and we might be able to help you more.

and don't expect us to go look up what your system is, you tell us what is in your Inspiron 5150.

Point taken.
Sorry, I just assumed it was the graphics card alone
that made up for like 90 - 95% of the test results.
Its 2.8Mhz Intel CPU
512MB RAM
7200 rpm 60 gig hdd

3.06 with HT
512MB RAM
40gig HDD dunno what speed
32MB GF FX5200go

Couldn't find any CPU lower than 3.06 with HT for the inspiron 5150 when i ordered.

Dude, with that system.... the GPU will NOT behave as fast/excellent as the rest of the system.
I have a freind who owns a 5200XP and has no problems with it.... but then all he plays is GTA :)

It is really not a game-happy card.... spend a bit more and get a better one please! unless MSword is your primary concern!

yeah i know. but i plan to use the CPU at 1.6Ghz anyway to reduce heat. so there's not much of a bottleneck i guess. gaming isn't an issue to me since i rarely play. but i just like to have the option there and then there's the engineering stuff at college and later uni

I plan on getting one soon.. For school reasons. So I think the PentiumM (1.5ghz) with its larger cache and better battery use will be my cpu of choice. Though kinda' torn between that and the faster P4 2.6-3.06 with HT. :(
The 60gb is a must, as well is the 512mb of ram.
Anyone know how the 128mb 5650 handles itself?

I wanted to get the Pentium-M based notebooks cos they're lighter but they're just too expensive. I had to choose between Dell I5100 and I5150.

ok in 3dmark01se i got:
2867 points while running under AC power and native resolution of 1400x1050
5860 points while running under AC power (but speed stepped to 1.6 GHz) at 1024x768
Hehe i didn't notice that it was speed-stepped when I ran the test. I'll do a new one soon.

Under 3dmark03 it was
907 full power at 1024x768.
Haven't done it using native resolution yet.

My specs:
M-P4 3.06 with HT
512MB DDR333 RAM
40gig HDD
32MB GF FXgo5200.
