I played with a Rev 3 of this some time ago. The PCB was soooo huge that I had to move my hard drive out to plug it in. Id compare it to the radeon 7200-7500 and did surprisingly well with Win 2000 and Quake 3. The only great part about this card is that is had 128mb of ram. Unfortunately the designers could not change their model so they kept upping the same ol thing to the point it was pathetic. There is a rev 3 on ebay right now I believe but Ive seen these cards sell as high as $7500.00!! It was pretty neat having a quad-gpu power though.

Only if they got freash meat in their designing dept before the fall. Unfortunately that would have meant ATI falling and we would never have out 9800 and 9500 pros...

It's really too bad about 3dfx. They had some good cards. The voodoo 4 4500 was a good card, but waaaaaayyy too late. The V5 5500 was decent as well, but still a bit too late. If they had had the jump on nvidia by a few months they'd have stayed in business.

Some day I'll be rich and famous for inventing a device that allows you to stab people in the face over the internet.

And they to come back with a great idea again. We need some more competition to keep ATI and Nvidia from rapping us on their good cards.
