ATi 9700 PRO 128MB

OK so I got a FIC Radeon 9700 PRO. To relace a dead GeForce TI4200. This is my first ATI card in a long time. I can only get it to run BF1942 with Cat 2.4 drivers. With any other driver it crashes in the game not at the start up of the game I fixed the refresh problem at start up. Any ATI people out there please help. I never had this problem with my GeForce cards. But I can run other games max settings no problem very fast card.

Do you remove all drivers from your old card?

I've got the same problem with my 9800 Pro. BF1942 and halo don't work... I don't really care though.

Try new Cata;ysts, maybe? I have a 9800 Pro on 3.7s and they don't give me any problems.

I removed all nvidia drivers for the TI4200.

That's wierd. My TI4200 plays halo demo.
