Hello I've got a strange problem with my new Abit Fx5600 Ultra card. Everytime I boot up WinXp I get an error message from Nvidia system sentinel that says that there is not enough power or the external power connector is not connected. Of course i've connected a cable to the power connector on the card and i've also tried diffrent ones from my 300w Chieftec PSU with no luck. Now, I know the Fx cards need a lot of power so I removed all extras in my computer (Cd-roms,PCI cards,Extra fans, USB etc. and booted up with only one hd and the gfxcard installed and I still got the same error. Is my PSU really not enough? or could this be a driver issue?

I think your PSU may be too Weak. Have you tried using a completely different PSU?
