Hello..
This might be a stupid question but I am not sure. I currently have a Radeon 7200(AGP4x) running on a AGP8x mb. I was just given a GeForce 5200FX as a gift. Doing some quick research, I see the 5200 is a 128mb, DX9, AGP8x card so is it safe to assume that I will see a big improvement in games if I use this card?
sell the 5200Fx, 7200, and Geforce 2pro, work a few extra hours and buy yourself a real card........
LOL, just kidding, that's what I would do In all seriosness, yes, if the 5200 is free, put it in. It is the newest card and you'll see slightly better improvments, but not by a whole lot. Oh, and by the way, the fx 5200 can't really do dx9. well, it could, but at a whole 1 frame per second, it doesn't really earn the title of "dx9"
