I am trying to connect a linksys wireless router to a
microsoft router (wired) but everytime I go to give it a
192.168.1.254 address it will mess up the ip address and
will not work? can someone please help thanks cam

This newsgroup doesn't support that product, but you might make sure you're
in access mode. If you're running it as a full-blown router, you're going
to have conflicts.

I connected a Linksys router to my MN-700, you need to use a cross over Cat
5 cable.

For what? A regular Ethernet RJ-45 cable will suffice, if the second router
is set to the proper mode.

Cams -
the second router you connect has to be set up as bridge/access point
The IP of the bridge has to be in the range of the router. Unless you
have changed it the address of the router is 192.168.2.1. Anything that
router controls has to be 192.168.2.xxx
