I have been trying to get my computer to reboot for three days now. I have
installed Windows XP nuemrous times using two differnt harddrives, checking
the memory, and removing all non-essential adapter cards. Nothing will get it
past the first part of the setup and the inistial reboot afterwards. The
"blue scrolling" bar stops before it makes it across the screen once and
stays that way for hours. There is no problem with the initial setup, it
formats, copies, etc with no problem. It just won't come back on after the
inital reboot to finalize installation. I've checked the cables, reset the
slave drive to master, and done everything else I can think of. What can I do
short of buying a new motherboard/processor?

Do you have a slipstreamed version of WinXP+SP2 CD?
