Game play on MS DOS

Hello,
I currently have Windows 7 on my laptop & I recently downloaded the D-Fend Reloaded application file to play old MS DOS games. It downloaded successfully, but the windows blanks out when I try to play the ms PacPC game with my Logitech joystick. t plays fine with the keyboard. What can I do?
