I only have two usb ports on the back of my computer as it is an older DELL
desktop.

I have an DSL modem and a printer plugged into these ports and they run fine.

When i connect a USB hub, unpowered or EVEN a powered hub to one of these
ports and reboot the computer the monitor will not start. I have power to the
monitor and it is NOT a USB monitor. I do not even get any text on the
screen, the computer seems to halt its boot sequence after about 10secs and
the green light does not come on the monitor. It stays orange, in sleep mode.

HELP ME PLEASE it is driving me nuts.
